There is no cost to charge your device. Our aim is to offer free charging to all New Zealanders, ensuring they can always stay connected and stay safe.

Our charging stations are all installed with ‘fast charge’ technology.  Your phone will usually charge from ‘dead’ to 50% within 10-15mins.  For faster charge, put your phone onto ‘flight mode’ for a more efficient charging time.

It’s important to use a pin code that is unique to you and not a commonly known number for security purposes. If your device for some reason gets locked in, the venue security or manager will have a master key to unlock your chamber. They will require you to enter your passcode on your device to ensure you are the owner before releasing it to you.

There are 4 simple steps:

Charging

  1. On the touch screen press ‘Charge my device’
  2. On the touch screen click an empty locker that is ‘green’
  3. Enter a unique 4 digital passcode twice
  4. Once the door opens, plug your device into one of the 3 cords and close the locker securely.


Retrieving your device

  1. On the touch screen, press ‘Retrieve my device’
  2. On the touch screen click on the locker your phone is in
  3. Re-enter your unique 4 digit passcode
  4. Once the door opens, unplug, remove your device and close the chamber door.
