Plug Media Phone Charging Station User Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance
By using any Plug Media phone charging station (the “Station”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Station.

2. Use of the Station

  • The Station is provided for your convenience to charge your compatible mobile phone device (the “Device”).
  • You are responsible for ensuring your Device is compatible with the Station’s locking mechanism and charging cables.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your unique pin for charging & retrieving is anonymous to any other person as this can result in theft which Plug Media and the venue where the Station is located at are not responsible for.

3. Security Measures

  • The Station utilises a locking mechanism to secure your Device while charging.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your unique pin code for charging & retrieving is anonymous to any other person.
  • Whilst security of your Device is as secure as possible, neither Plug Media nor the Venue where the Station is located, cannot guarantee the absolute security of your Device from theft or tampering.

4. Risks and Disclaimer of Liability

  • You acknowledge there are potential risks associated with using any public charging station, including:
    • Theft: Your Device may be stolen even while secured in the Station.
    • Data Breach: Malicious software on the Station (highly unlikely) could potentially access data on your unlocked Device.
    • Damage: The Station’s charging capabilities may malfunction and damage your Device.
  • The venue operating the Station (the “Venue”) & Plug Media are not liable for any loss or damage to your Device, data, or other property arising from the use of the Station.

5. User Responsibility

  • You are solely responsible for the safety and security of your Device at all times while using the Station.
  • Do not leave your Device unattended while charging, even when secured.
  • We recommend you disable data transfer and lock your Device with a strong password before charging.
  • Report any malfunction or suspicious activity with the Station to the Venue immediately.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Station is provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The Venue disclaims all warranties, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Termination
The Venue may terminate your access to the Station at any time without notice for any reason.

8. Governing Law
These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Disputes Tribunal, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the Venue regarding your use of the Station.

10. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
